The food was great! The creativity was wonderful! The company excellent! The bubbles were ok too!
Jane Clarke, Adelaide Hills Region, organized the High Tea and Fashion in 2014 Hahndorf way, which was a wonderful success, so it was decided to offer the opportunity again this year at a venue more central to members. Once again, Jane was fabulous and the afternoon could not have been better! Nine South Australian neighbourhood groups were represented and reluctant to leave! The High Tea commenced at 2:00pm to finish at 4:00pm, but most remained close to 5:00pm. Conversation, laughter and the ambience of the afternoon luring us to stay on.
A photographer (Andrew) was there to snap some awesome photos. The camera shy were beguiled to present for photographing in inconspicuous shots so their fabulous creations were not to be left out. Even those who are less than enamored with photos of themselves were pleasantly surprised. As the afternoon progressed, it was discovered Andrew (the photographer) sewed as well and shared some of his creative experiences. How good is that?
Enjoy the photos! The photos come courtesy of Skewed Vision Photography. If your group or region has been up to something for National Sewing Month (Sewing MAYhem) just send your pics and write up to firstname.lastname@example.org! There's still plenty of time to show us your celebrations!
